The crank mechanism allows for easy opening and closing of the umbrella with the handle located on the side of the powder-coated aluminum pole. The sturdy structure of the umbrella includes a durable aluminum pole and 8 solid steel ribs that are powder coated to prevent chipping, peeling, rust, and corrosion. The polyester fabric is fade resistant, easy to clean, and provides vital UV sun protection. Note: A cross base is included. Additional weights are required but NOT INCLUDED.
